Don't Call It A Comeback.

One time I started a blog. And then I started teaching. And that is when my blog took a back seat. I wish I was better at blogging. BECAUSE I LOVE IT! I would promise to be better, but I can't promise anything that big! I just hope I will be better!
In the mean time here is an update about what has been going on in our lives!!
I GRADUATED!!! Well kind of... I walked! I am officially now done with school and am just waiting for my diploma to make it official. But I walked in April, mostly for a day off, and because I am ALL ABOUT TRADITION and the August graduation didn't seem big enough.

The best support group. I thank my parents for helping me through these last four years, and I thank BYU for giving me Jordan!!
I finished teaching at Timpview. It was an equally sad and happy day. I was ready for a break, but so sad to be leaving my alma mater. LUCKILY that didn't last long because I have been offered a full time position to teach there next year!! So to all my students who cried when I told them when I was leaving (there were none, but a girl can dream) I AM COMING BACK! BIRD GANG 4 LYPHE!! But really tho, I am beginning to bleed orange and blue.
#Throwback. But really tho. I don't have a SINGLE photo from my first year of teaching.  I am the worst.
We went to DISNEYLAND TWICE!! Seriously, I am so lucky that Jordan can sing, because that means I get to tag along on cool trips to sing cool songs with Vocal Point. Man I freaking LOVE Disneyland and could go on forever, but I won't because I am going to save that FOR ANOTHER POST! (You're welcome Vocal Point Fans and the FPVFF)

We moved to Denver!! But just for the summer! I was only there for 2 weeks, but we made sure to hit up VooDoo donuts TWICE. Because I love donuts and couldn't pass it up. Jordan was there for an internship with EY, and was lucky enough to receive a full time offer just a couple of days ago! So it looks like we will be going back next year!!
Also, my ONLY picture from Denver. Again. I am the worst.
TOBY TURNED 1!! I hate myself. But yes, I did make him a cake. AND HE LOVED IT! Maybe I will share the recipe some day. But who are we kidding. I can't cook and Ava made him that cake. Don't worry all your animal lovers, it was completely dog healthy!!
Gosh he is so stinking cute!!!
That seems like all of the big stuff. I am sure I am forgetting something.... Oh well. Hopefully a Disney post is coming soon!!
Man. It feels good to be back in the blogging saddle.

Happy Birthday to Us // Welcome Toby

So one time Jordan and I had birthdays!! Actually that one time was 2-3 months ago... Man, I have really been slaking in the blogging game. But anyway I have finally gotten around to blogging about what we both did for our 21/25 birthdays!
My birthday was in August, and the day started by getting woken up by my sweet husband with the cutest box of donuts I have ever seen. My man knows me really well and knows I would much rather have donuts than cake!

The rest of the day was spent going to lunch at the Habit, and then shopping at City Creek and then ending with dinner at Alemexo. Seriously it was perfect! Jordan spoiled me!

Those chocolate shakes tho. Habit has quickly become one of our favorites.
Then I was surprised by my family who made me the cutest cake and balloons to celebrate!! My sister Ava is the craftiest person I know, and she MADE those balloons. Seriously, she puts me to shame.

I mean, COME ON! Some one wife her. Quick.

Jordan's birthday was in September and now it was my turn to spoil him! For his birthday we both had school. So I woke up early and made him breakfast! Then when we both got home from school I surprised him with his favorite meal from his childhood. Chicken Blintzes. Man it was delicious. Then we took a scooter ride (a birthday present to both of us from my parents) to a movie!!
The real surprises for Jordan tho came before and after his birthday! I surprised him with tickets to see a live star show up at the planetarium in Salt Lake! He was like a kid in a candy store playing with all that space stuff.

Of course the night wouldn't be complete without another trip to the Habit.
Which brings us to the biggest surpise of the them all! The weekend before Jordan's birthday I got a text from my parents that said, "Would you kill us if we got this for Jordan?" with the following picture.

I said OF COURSE NOT. We then hatched a plan of how we would surprise Jordan with him. Luckily for us, Jordan had a vocal point show that night and would not be home until late. So I went and got all the things he would need, and then waited at my parents house for Jordan to come over. Below is the video of Jordan seeing him of the first time.

We named him Sir Tobias Winston Churchill, or Toby for short. He is the absolute cutest dog there has ever been and I might be a little more in love with him than Jordan is.

He is the laziest dog there has ever been. This is a result of a 10 minute walk around our block.

 Welcome to the family Toby.
